Thanks to all who joined us for a rousing shabbat service and Simcha Torah celebration on October 13th. 

Please join us for Shabbat morning this Saturday (October 28) at Hawaiian Queen Coffee Garden (75-1048 Henry Street, Kailua Kona – across the road and just up from Safeway). Services begin at 10:30AM led by Aviva Plaut and Yehuda Plaut will lead a discussion on the Parsha of the week, Lech Lecha. Kiddush and Potluck to follow (Potluck Guidelines: Vegetables and fruit, main and side dishes appreciated. No pork or shellfish. We always have many more desserts than can be consumed. Our intention is to uplift the spirit, mind, as well as the body.

Save the date: November 10, 6PM for a North Hawaii erev shabbat celebration at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel.  Rabbi Rachel Short from the Hilo side will be guest leader.
