We are extremely grateful to the Borkan family who have allowed us use of the space at the Shops at the Mauna Lani for the last several years. Torah Rabah. Their generosity gave us a welcoming space to conduct shabbat and holiday services as well as our annual channuka party. As we search for a more permanent site, we will make our temporary home at the Hawaii Queen Coffee Gardens on Henry Street in Kona. We have already had several events at this beautiful facility and it has worked well especially for our members living in Kona and south of there.
Our Second Saturday torah studies have been stimulating and exciting. We have been meeting monthly for almost a year in Captain Cook or Kealekekua. For our next session , May 13 , several regular attendees will be off island. We will cancel May’s study unless more folks can join us. Please RSVP if you will be studying with us that day.
