It is almost spring, the days are lengthening and the season for Purim and Passover are coming right up.  Please join us for a very FUN event next Sunday, March 12th, from 2:30-5 pm at the Hawaii Queen Coffee Gardens, opposite Safeway on Henry St in Kailua Kona, when we celebrate the holiday of Purim.  We encourage you to come in costume and be prepared for some Purim silliness. The megillah reading, a Purim schpiel, music, dancing, games and of course hamataschen are on the program. We encourage you to bring a shelf stable food item to donate to the food bank. For more details please go to

Passover is not too far behind, so we encourage you to sign up NOW for our seder on Monday April 10th, at 5:30pm at the Kona Outdoor Circle.  The program includes a delicious meal with all the traditional foods as well as an inspiring and song filled version of the haggadah, celebrating our freedom.  We hope you will come and share this important holiday with us.
Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.  Please go to for more information and to sign up.
