Kona Beth Shalom’s monthly Shabbat service is this Saturday, October 27th 10:30AM at the Hawaiian Queen Coffee Garden in Kona on Henry Street near the intersection with Palani.

The service will be led by Una Greenaway and Aviva Plaut with Vic Greenspan joining Aviva to read from Torah parasha Vayera (Genesis 21:1-22:24) – וַיֵּרָא  “and He appeared” – which includes one of the most challenging passages: the Akeda – the binding of Isaac.

Following services stay for kiddush and kibbitz at a potluck luncheon. If you can, bring a dish to share (no pork or shellfish, please).

We look forward to having you join us.
