Rabbi Daniel Lev travels from Oahu to lead Kona Beth Shalom Shabbat services Saturday, February 27 at our home in the Shops at Mauna Lani. After the service we will break for a potluck lunch – no pork or shellfish please – and resume for torah study.
The parashah for that week is Ki Tisa, in which Moses comes down from Mount Sinai with the Ten Commandments only to find the people worshipping a Golden Calf. The study will be in English. If you have a favorite tanach, bring it. If not we have copies.
Rabbi Lev will be present at a potluck Kabbalat Shabbat at the home of Louise and Marvin Feldman in Captain Cook at 6:30PM (note updated time) on Friday, February 26. If you plan to attend please email Louise: firstname.lastname@example.org
We hope to see you for one or both of these events.
