Our monthly shabbat service will be held this Saturday morning at out home in the Shops at Mauna Lani. We are fortunate to have Shari Berman, a past president of the congregation and superb cantorial soloist and layner (torah reader) leading the service, assisted in the torah service by Aviva Plaut and Vic Greenspan.
The parsha, Ki Tavo, tells of the ceremony of the first fruits (בִּכּוּרִים, bikkurim), tithes, the blessings from observance and curses from violation of the law.
Please bring a little potluck nosh to share after services (NO pork or shellfish, please).
We would love to see you there! Kona Beth Shalom welcomes all who wish to strengthen their connection to Judaism.
