Congregation Kona Beth Shalom gathers to observe the Day of Atonement beginning with the stirring Kol Nidre service at 6PM Tuesday, October 8 and continuing Wednesday, October 9 with a full day of prayer and song, introspection and discussion starting at 10AM.
Wednesday evening there will be a break-the-fast with bagels and lox in addition to potluck selections. If you can, please bring a dish to share (no pork or shellfish).

The services, led by Rabbi Daniel Lev, are at Hawaiian Queen Coffee Garden, 75-1048 Henry Street in Kailua Kona.

  • 3 PM – Mid-afternoon discussion
  • 4 PM – Yizkor service

  • 6:30 PM – Havdallah
  • 6:45 PM – Break-the-Fast

High Holiday seats are included with KBS membership. We ask visitors and non-members to purchase seats. No one will be turned away from Services for inability to pay.
