Shabbat Ki Tavo Service
September 21 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm
Our Shabbat service is on the third Saturday this month. Aviva Plaut leads the service, featuring readings from this week’s parashah, Ki Tavo כִּי־תָבוֹא (“when you enter [the land]”) – D’varim/Deuteronomy 26:1-29:8 – in which Moses tells the Israelites to express gratitude to God for the bountiful harvests in the Promised Land by tithing the first fruits for the Levite, the stranger, the orphan, and the widow.
Following services stay for a “Kiddush & Kibbitz” potluck. If you can, bring a dish to share (no meat or shellfish, please). For those who cannot attend in person the service will be live-streamed via Zoom and on the KBS Facebook page (Zoom connection info will be provided by email).
