Shabbat Service – Evan Wedgwood Bar Mitzvah

KBS and parents Jill Raznov & Tom Wedgwood invite you to share the joy as Evan is called to the Torah for the first time as a Bar Mitzvah.
Though we are shattered and heartbroken over the tragic events unfolding in Israel and Gaza, they make it all the more important for us to gather and preserve the traditions and continuity of our People.
Trina Yerlick and Aviva Plaut will lead the service on 10/28, including readings from parashah Lech L’cha – לֶךְ־לְךָ (“Go Forth”) – in which God tells Abram to leave his home and travel to the land that will be promised to generations of his descendants. Evan will deliver a d’var Torah inspired by themes in the parashah and their meaning to so many generations.
Evan’s family will sponsor a kiddush luncheon after the service.
The service will also by live-streamed via Zoom and on the KBS Facebook page.
