Shabbat Service in-person and on Zoom

Trina Yerlick leads the KBS April Shabbat service with Rabbi Shari Berman, Vic Greenspan and Tomomi Saito joining in for the Torah service to read from the double-parashah for this week: Achrei Mot/Kedoshim (Vayikra/Leviticus 16:1 – 20:27), enumerating a wide range of laws for worship and sacrifice and things forbidden from the kitchen to the bedroom; and it contains the instruction to “love your fellow as yourself” (וְאָֽהַבְתָּ֥ לְרֵעֲךָ֖ כָּמ֑וֹךָ).
In that spirit, we ask everyone attending in-person at Hawaiian Queen Coffee Garden be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19. If you are feeling unwell or may have been exposed to the virus, please join in online via Zoom (connection details will be sent to the congregation email list).
Following services stay for kiddush and a potluck lunch. If you are able, please bring a dish to share (no pork or shellfish).
