Family Shabbat Service – Ki Tisa & Purim Celebration

Our March Shabbat service will be on the third Saturday, at 10AM (note earlier start time), led by Dr. Barry Blum, with Rabbi Shari Joy Berman joining in to read from the week’s Parashah, Ki Tisa – כִּי תִשָּׂא (“When You Elevate”) – (Sh’mot/Exodus 30:11-34:35).  It will also be the day after Purim and, in the spirit of “it’s never too late to celebrate a great holiday,” Dr. Blum will present the Megillah of Esther …with grogger noisemakers available for kids of all ages to drown out the name of the hated , who plotted against the Jews of ancient Persia.

Afterward, enjoy a snack of homemade hamantaschen – NO POT LUCK this time, but your own hamantaschen are welcome.
