Shabbat Service – Mishpatim

Join with KBS members, friends and guests for our February Shabbat service led by Aviva Plaut and with R.Shari Joy Berman and Vic Greenspan reading from this week’s Parashah, Misphatim – מִּשְׁפָּטִים (“Laws”) – (Sh’mot/Exodus 21:1-24:18), in which the Israelites, gathered at the foot of Sinai, receive a wide-ranging set of rules for how to treat one another and live as a holy community. Aviva will present a d’rash inspired by themes in the parashah.
Afterward, stay for a Kiddush & Kibbitz potluck. If you can, please bring a dish to share (but no meat or shellfish). If you are unable to attend in person, the service will also be live-streamed via Zoom and on the KBS Facebook page. Zoom connection information will be provided via email.
