Shabbat Vayechi Service
December 18, 2021 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm
The KBS Shabbat service is a week earlier than usual this month to avoid conflict with the year-end holiday observances. With this service, we are delighted to resume limited in-person activities for fully vaccinated congregants. Revised county rules allow up to 25 attendees at indoor gatherings and we will require you to RSVP to ensure we do not exceed the limit and to allow for appropriate social distance seating. We will follow COVID-19 safety protocols and everyone attending must wear a mask covering mouth and nose.
The service will be led by Aviva Plaut and Trina Yerlick and includes readings from Vayechi – ַוְיִחי (“and he lived”) – the final parashah in the book of Bʻreisheet/Genesis, which concludes the story of Joseph in Egypt. The service begins at 10:30AM. There will NOT be a potluck afterward. We hope you can join in as we celebrate Shabbat together. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve seats for the 12/18 service. Include the number of people in your group and provide a photo or scan verification of COVID vaccination for each. You will receive a confirmation email and we will send out a notice when we reach the 25 person limit.
The service will also be available on Zoom and the Kona Beth Shalom Facebook page. For details including connection information please email email@example.com.
