Torah Study in Captain Cook

February 10, 2018 @ 10:30 am - 1:30 pm

After a winter break, Second Saturday Torah Study resumes at Louise & Marvin Feldman’s farm with readings and discussion of the parashah: Mishpatim (Exodus 22:4-23:19) in which Moses and the Children of Israel receive laws to obey individually and as a community along with commandments how to observe the major festivals.
The study is group-led and no knowledge of Hebrew or previous study is necessary. Please bring your own tanach or print out a copy of the week’s parashah from one of the many versions available online. No one version is preferred and a variety adds to interesting discussion.
A potluck lunch follows the session so bring a dish to share (NO pork or shellfish, please).
All are welcome to attend. To RSVP and for directions email lfeldman@hawaii.rr.com
