DESCRIPTION:A shabbat service will be followed by Simchat Torah\, celebrating completion of the Torah cycle with the final lines of D’varim/Deuteronomy and starting anew with B’reisheet/Genesis chapter one. You can see our precious Torah scroll unrolled to its full length and then re-rolled as Dr. Barry Blum describes its remarkable journey from the ashes of the Holocuast in the former Czechoslovakia to our Aron Kodesh in Kona. Our own klezmorim\, members of Kona’s Traveling Jewish Wedding Band\, will provide music for everyone to dance with the Torah.
