Shabbat Hagadol
Join with KBS members, friends and guests for a Shabbat service at New Thought Center of Hawai`i in Kealakekua. Dr. Barry Blu
m leads the service, joined by Rabbi Shari Joy Berman who will read from this week’s parashah, Tzav / צַו (“command”), in which the Israelites are further instructed to prepare for sacred rituals in the mishkan (tabernacle) and the role of the kohanim – priests – in carrying them out.
On the Shabbat before Passover, we will look forward to the annual festival of matzah and freedom.
After the service, stay for our Kiddush & Kibbitz potluck. If you can, please bring a dish to share (but no pork or shellfish).
