Shabbat Hagadol

KBS president Dr. Barry Blum leads services on this Shabbat HaGadol – the shabbat preceding Passover.
Barry is joined by R. Shari Joy Berman and Vic Greenspan to read from torah parashah M’tzora (Vayikra/Leviticus 14:1-15:33), which describes the priestly rituals to cure the skin affliction tzaraat (often mistranslated as “leprosy”) and sacrifices to be offered in the Mishkan (tabernacle) – part of the commandments about separating the holy from the ordinary.
Following services, enjoy kiddush and a potluck lunch. If you are able to, please bring a dish to share (but no meat or shellfish).
