Shabbat Service – Ki Teitzei

Aviva Plaut leads the service, which will include readings from Ki Teitzei כִּי־תֵצֵא (“When you go out”) Deuteronomy 21:10 – 25:19, containing numerous laws …more than appear in any other Torah portion …including laws about the proper treatment of a captive woman, clothing one may or may not wear, caring for animals, building a rooftop fence, and workers’ wages. Dr. Barry Blum will deliver a d’rash inspired by themes in the parashah.

Following services, stay for our Kiddush & Kibbutz potluck. If you are able, please bring a dish to share (no pork or shellfish).
